How to Find Us
The Maritime Museum of San Diego (Berkely FerryBoat) is located on Harbor Drive near the corner of Ash Street just a few blocks West of interstate 5.  From interstate 5 North or South take the "Airport" exit. Look for signs on the freeway and after exiting on to surface streets that read "Embarcadero-Maritime Museum." They will direct you to the museum.

Parking
Metered Spaces:  There are metered spaces in the lot directly in front of the Maritime Museum. They are enforced 8am - 6 pm, Monday - Saturday. They cost a quarter for every 12 minutes, and the meters will take up to 10 quarters at a time (two hours at a time). We have not had the Port ticket cars that are parked in the same space for more then two hours as long as the meters are paid.

Day Lots: There are also several day lots (pay to park) within a few blocks of the museum including: Broadway and Harbor Drive, Kettner and Cedar, Kettner and Beech and a large parking structure at Columbia and "C". Also parking is available at the County Administration Center (pay to park, enter off Ash Street between Harbor Drive and Pacific Coast Highway) on weekends and holidays only. Day lots typically charge $10 per day but prices may change at any time.

For Groups: We recommend that if you park in metered spaces you assign one chaparone to be the "quartermaster" . This designated person goes  back and forth to feed all the group's meters at the appropriate time. This keeps the program from losing all the chaparones during the program.  Often teachers have given drivers tags/signs for their front window to make their cars easy for the quartermaster to identify.

*If you are coming on a sailing program you must park in pay lots as the ship is gone longer than two hours.
